Top 5 News and Magazines Apps on Android in Cyprus for Q2 2024

During the second quarter of 2024, the top News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Cyprus showcased varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar had a steady increase in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with 56 downloads, the app saw a significant rise, peaking at 107 downloads in the week of June 3. The trend remained stable towards the end of the quarter, maintaining around 101-106 downloads per week.

Way2News Daily News App experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. The app started strong with 93 downloads in the first week of April, reaching 106 downloads the following week. However, a decline followed, bottoming out at 27 downloads in the week of June 17, before slightly recovering to 33 downloads by the end of the quarter.

Google News - Daily Headlines showed a relatively stable performance. Weekly downloads hovered around the low 40s for most of the quarter, with a notable increase to 65 downloads in the final week of June.

Tomorrow's Affairs also had a varied performance. The app started with 20 downloads in the first week of April and saw a peak of 99 downloads in mid-May. However, the downloads dropped significantly to 17 by early June, ending the quarter with 18 downloads in the last week.

Opera News: breaking & local displayed a moderate performance with weekly downloads ranging from 24 to 48 throughout the quarter. The app started with 30 downloads and saw its highest download count of 48 in the last week of June.
